Due to the nature of nature, the color of this and any product that contains sea buckthorn oil may vary from a light buttery yellow to a bright orange. Benzoin, which is an organic essential oil from tree resin that smells like vanilla and looks like maple syrup, can sometimes crystalize or rise to the top.
